Harmon’s work reflects the love and respect he held for his subjects, as he painted expressive portraits of everyday people, colleagues, students, friends, as their authentic and true selves, bold and honest.

Not all is lost forever. Even this oil painting, damaged by water and mold, which caused major flaking and lifting of the paint layer, was able to be salvaged.
