Throughout the ages of history, there exists for a variety of reasons artworks with no known creator. Sometimes it is because there is not enough historic evidence to connect an artist to the painting, sometimes the signature is illegible, other times anonymity may define the expression of an artist, and still others may not have signed their paintings for reasons of cultural differences.
