When the foundation heard about the Masters of Percussion, a drum corps from inner city Trenton High School who were in dire need of instruments, we contacted Yamaha Corporation and purchased drums for a 15-member drumline. The corps has helped to keep students in school and teach them entrepreneurial skills.
Money raised at performances support college scholarships. The band plays at Princeton's alumni P-rade, entertains at the Ball4Real street ball tour in Philadelphia, and is part of an ongoing musical exchange program with students at New Hope - Solebury High School.
